MSK Elects Five Lawyers to Partnership

Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP (MSK) is pleased to announce that the firm has elected five new partners, effective January 1, 2019. The new partners, representing a broad range of practice areas, are Alesha M. Dominique (Washington, D.C.), John E. Exner IV (Los Angeles), Bradley J. Mullins (Los Angeles), Brett Thomas (Los Angeles), and Sarah Taylor Wirtz (Los Angeles).

Alesha M. Dominique is a member of the Entertainment and IP Litigation practice group in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Dominique focuses her practice on patent, trademark, false advertising and unfair competition disputes. She regularly counsels clients on trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement matters. She received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.S., magna cum laude, from Howard University.

John E. Exner IV is a member of the Immigration practice group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He is an experienced immigration attorney, with a practice dedicated primarily to the representation of businesses of all sizes, as well as individual clients, in a variety of employment-based and family-based immigration matters. He also regularly counsels clients on immigration enforcement issues, E-Verify, and I-9 compliance, on both the federal and state levels. He received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a B.S. from Trinity University.

Bradley J. Mullins is a member of the Entertainment and IP Litigation practice group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He focuses on copyright, trademark and contract and commercial disputes. His work spans a diverse set of industries, from music to finance to pharmaceuticals. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. from University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Brett Thomas is a member of the Labor & Employment practice group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She counsels employers in all areas of employment law, including hiring practices, discipline, investigations of harassment or other wrongdoing, terminations and layoffs, personnel policies, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, wage and hour issues and contract negotiation and drafting. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.S. from Indiana University.

Sarah Taylor Wirtz is a member of the Labor & Employment group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She represents management in a variety of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, retaliation and wrongful termination. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from University of California, Los Angeles.
