Litigation Associate

We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 1-2 years of general litigation experience for the Los Angeles office. Substantial experience handling litigation is a positive.  The candidate must have excellent analytical and writing skills, and strong interpersonal skills.  Outstanding academic credentials are required.

Trusts and Estates Attorney

Los Angeles office seeks Of Counsel with 6-10 years of trusts and estates experience. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting a variety of estate planning documents (including wills, living trusts, irrevocable trusts, and related documents), administering trusts and estates, and handling estate, gift, GST, fiduciary income, and property tax issues. The ideal candidate also will be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, exemplary analytical skills, strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and set priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be able to work well in a team and independently. Excellent academic credentials are required. Major law firm experience is preferred. A Tax LL.M., experience with income taxation of partnerships, LLCs, individuals and corporations, experience with contested or disputed trusts and estates, and/or a book of portable business is a plus.

Tax Associate 

We are seeking a third to fifth year tax associate for our Los Angeles office to support the firm’s private equity, transactional and private client practices. The ideal candidate must have strong income tax training and experience including corporate and financing transactions.  Familiarity with Subchapters C and K is essential.  The candidate must also have excellent analytical and writing ability, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Outstanding academic credentials are required, with an LLM from a top tax program a plus.
