Marketing Coordinator or Assistant
Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator or Assistant will provide tactical support to a variety of marketing, communications and business development activities. Seeking a sharp, enthusiastic self-starter with a strong client service orientation.
Job responsibilities include:
- Prepare customized collateral materials, including client proposals and firm brochures, for new business pitches and presentations.
- Maintain the firm’s marketing databases, utilizing them to produce targeted mailing lists.
- Layout, produce and distribute firm alerts, announcements, invitations and advertisements.
- Coordinate client programs, including managing registration; arranging facilities, catering and tech support; preparing PowerPoint presentations and handout materials; providing guest reception; and facilitating attorney follow-up.
- Assist in updating the firm website and various marketing materials, in Word and on the firm’s website.
- Assist with directory updates and attorney ranking submissions.
- Collect and archive representative matters, industry experience, speaking engagements and client lists.
- Plan, implement and execute all aspects of marketing and business development events.
- Use event management software to distribute invitations and track RSVPs.
- Liase with attorneys, vendors, professional staff throughout the firm to assist in business development efforts.
- All other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of marketing or business development experience in a professional services field is required; law firm experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is required; proficiency with Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Suite, and Adobe InDesign is required; graphic design/page layout and print experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Superior writing, proofreading and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and use common sense in solving problems; a team player.
Status: Full-time staff, non-exempt

We are seeking a IT Trainer to join our team.
IT Training
- Assist with conducting New Hire IT Orientation, in-office and remotely, that is tailored to specific practice groups and roles.
- Assist with researching, planning, organizing and conducting training programs, seminars and conferences for attorneys and other personnel.
- Work with the Training Manager in preparing self-study materials, application handouts, and coordinating distribution of vendor provided e-learning for self-directed learners.
- Assist with preparing learning plans and skills development roadmaps for learners.
- Reviewing and evaluating existing and proposed training programs; and recommending appropriate changes.
- Assist in preparing and/or distributing training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; setting up audio-visual equipment and making presentations when necessary.
- Translating technical concepts and terms into understandable terminology for participants.
- Tracking learner participation and training completion with reports to firm management and staff supervisors.
Help Desk
- Responding to and prioritizing Help Desk requests assigned to Training.
- Tracking end user ticket history on tickets assigned to Training and following-up with user requests when appropriate.
We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join our team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Corporate Paralegal Responsibilities:
Work with attorneys to prepare all documents required to form corporations (both business and not-for-profit corporations), partnerships and limited liability companies in any state.
Assist attorneys in all stages of corporate transactions and with the preparation of documents necessary to comply with federal, state and local regulations in the conduct of business activities.
Assist attorneys in the preparation of documentation for amendments, withdrawals, mergers and dissolutions of corporations, partnerships and/or limited liability companies.
Create and maintain corporate minute books.
Research state and federal codes, agency guidelines, etc.
Preparation and filing of SEC and state securities filings.
Work directly with attorneys and clients during closings and corporate transactions.
Provide attorneys with assistance in the preparation for and closing of various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.
Prepare audit letters for distribution to auditors and clients.
Gather litigation and billing information to prepare draft responses to auditors' requests for information.
Draft and prepare regulatory filings, including UCC statements, federal and state trademark applications, IRS and state Department of Revenue filings, and charitable registration and renewal applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal
College degree preferred. Certification in paralegal studies preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Strong technology and research skills with an understanding of business and corporate filings and an interest in the practice of business, corporate, and/or real estate law.
Must also be professional, highly organized, extremely detail oriented, be a self-starter and be able to adapt and multi-task in a fast corporate/business environment.
Must have experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word and Outlook.
Immigration Project Assistant - Los Angeles, CA (West Los Angeles)
We are seeking an Immigration Project Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Drafting correspondence and support documents.
Organizing and maintaining documents and files in immigration filings.
Conducting internet and other research, organizing documents and exhibits for use in filings.
Provide general support for paralegals and attorneys.
Assist in preparing and processing visas.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required. Academic performance will be considered. Please include GPA on resume.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Attention to detail oriented and organized.
Customer service skills, teamwork, leadership and reliability.
