Corporate Associate (mid-level)
We are seeking a motivated attorney with 5–6 years of experience at a top-tier law firm, with a focus on capital markets, securities matters, and mergers and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, drafting, and organizational skills to a collaborative environment and will have the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys on public company matters and sophisticated transactions. In addition, candidates should have meaningful M&A experience, including drafting and negotiating principal transaction documents, conducting and organizing due diligence, and supporting related disclosure and governance matters.
Strong drafting skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage significant portions of transactions with increasing independence are essential. Litigation Support Analyst
Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp, a mid-sized law firm with offices in Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington D.C., is seeking a Litigation Support Analyst to join our Los Angeles office.
This role sits at the dynamic intersection of law and data and is an excellent entry point for anyone building a career in legal technology or laying the groundwork for law school. You’ll work alongside attorneys and case teams to manage the full lifecycle of electronic discovery (eDiscovery) projects, one of the most technically sophisticated areas of modern legal practice. Through hands‑on exposure, you’ll gain deep, practical knowledge of how litigation is managed from the ground up at a major law firm — from initial case assessment and data collection through trial.
The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $115,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with legal teams and apply your technical skills to execute discovery projects, including the identification, preservation, collection, processing, and production of electronic data.
- Build and run complex database queries and generate analytical reports.
- Help troubleshoot litigation technologies and provide user support across the team.
- Communicate project status, monitor deadlines, and help flag potential issues before they become problems.
- Develop working relationships with external vendors.

Senior Legal Secretary – Litigation
Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp, a mid-sized law firm with offices in Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington D.C., is seeking a Senior Legal Secretary to join our team in Los Angeles.
We are looking for a Senior Legal Secretary with experience in traditional litigation, labor & employment, commercial litigation, and/or intellectual property. The position will entail supporting approximately 4 - 5 busy Attorneys. The Firm offers competitive compensation; 401K; medical, vision and dental coverage; life insurance; flexible spending accounts and more. The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
- Create and edit drafts of documents such as correspondence, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, requests for production, subpoenas, deposition notices, and other legal documents.
- Prepare final versions of documents: format Microsoft Word documents, create tables of contents and tables of authorities, proofread, etc.
- Handle electronic filings with state and federal courts; handle agency filings/submissions; and retrieval of electronically filed documents.
- Assist in preparation for depositions, court hearings, and trials.
- Manage and organize attorneys’ emails in Outlook and save them in a document management system.
- Enter attorneys’ time on a daily basis.
- Arrange meetings and travel, schedule appointments, and maintain contacts and calendars.
- Process expense reimbursements and process invoices
- Knowledge of court rules and filing procedures, including determining requirements for filing for in varying jurisdictions.
- Communicate by phone/email with clients, court personnel and other legal professionals.
- Prepare court filings using Adobe PDF to assemble pleadings and exhibits, including bookmarking and OCRing.
- Support other litigation secretaries with filings, deposition preparation, and case management.
- Assist other departments and legal secretaries with overflow work.
Other qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of legal secretarial experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in legal terminology and procedures.
- Satisfaction working both independently and collaboratively with teams of varying work styles.
- Strong work ethic with ability to produce high-quality work in a consistent and reliable manner.
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, including juggling multiple projects and demands, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy and quality of all work product.

Paralegal
Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp, a mid-sized law firm with offices in Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington D.C., is seeking an experienced Paralegal to complement our Litigation and Labor teams.
The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a case from inception to conclusion and anticipate case/counsel needs.
- Work with counsel and Litigation Support on collection, processing, review and production of electronic data/files.
- Maintain electronic case databases (e.g., Relativity, OpenText Axcelerate (Recommind), Exterro, CS Disco, Everlaw, Viewpoint), run searches on databases.
- Manage document productions, including document review under the supervision of an attorney, redactions, endorsements and preparation of document productions for service.
- Establish, organize and maintain case files, both electronic and paper.
- Research and cull information from resources such as websites, periodicals, trade associations, Federal, State and local government agencies.
- Prepare, serve and manage document and deposition subpoenas.
- Depositions: Under attorney supervision, gather and prepare documents relevant to the deponent, organize exhibits, take notes and handle exhibits during the deposition, secure depositions transcripts from reporting services and distribute copies as needed.
- Assist in preparation of motions and other Court filings, including assembly of motion papers, declarations and exhibits, proofread and citation check, and create appendices.
- Assist in the filing and service of Federal and State Court documents.
- Assist counsel in trial/arbitration/mediation: create exhibit list and prepare exhibits; prepare witnesses; coordinate logistics such as courtroom technician and other technology needs; liaison between counsel and court staff; assist counsel at hearing.
Qualifications
- Minimum education - Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certificate from accredited paralegal school preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years working as a litigation or labor paralegal at a law firm or assisting company in-house counsel.
- Strong management, organizational, communication and writing skills.
- Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
- Ability to efficiently gather, maintain and organize voluminous data/documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong experience in eDiscovery.
