Adam Levin Quoted in Variety on WGA Expulsion and Employability
Adam Levin was quoted in the Variety article, “Park Chan-wook Can Keep Writing Despite WGA Expulsion: ‘No Impact on Employability,’” published on August, 11, 2025. The article explored the legal and practical implications of the South Korean director and screenwriter’s expulsion from the Writers Guild of America.
Commenting on how guild membership status affects a writer’s ability to work, Levin noted that expulsion from the WGA does not prevent a writer from continuing to write for film or television.
From the article…
“'It has absolutely no impact on employability,' said Adam Levin, a partner at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp. 'Neither the union nor the producers can discriminate against you based on your non-union status.'"
