Su Ross spoke on the panel, "Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 (TFTEA): With an emphasis on enforcement!" at the October dinner meeting for the Los Angeles Customs Brokers & Freight Forwarders Association Inc. (LACBFFA) on October 26, 2016.
Attendees learned about “TFTEA” and CBP’s trade enforcement responsibility areas, such as protection of intellectual property rights, anti-dumping/countervailing duty evasion, and forced labor-derived goods. In addition, we will cover Broker / Importer relationships and the new Broker/Importer “Survey” by CBP.
