Russ Frackman and Christine Lepera Named to Billboard's 2018 "Top Music Lawyers" List

Russ Frackman and Christine Lepera have been named to Billboard's 2018 "Top Music Lawyers" list published on October 19, 2018. This year's list consists of 93 attorneys that "drive the music industry." 

Russ Frackman was noted for his work as a "copyright-law virtuoso" representing "Capitol Records and EMI Music Publishing in a case against the video service Vimeo, claiming copyright infringement over user-generated content."

Christine Lepera was highlighted for her two court victories in May: "The dismissal of the copyright claim against client Jay-Z for his 1999 hit “Big Pimpin'" was affirmed, and a move by Kesha to break her contract with Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe label was rejected."
