The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Elder Abuse Prevention, located at the Hebrew Home at Riverdale, presented its fourth annual awards of distinction on June 2, 2015 at the offices of Conde Nast in One World Trade Center. Lauren Wachtler was mentioned and pictured in the New York Law Journal (June 3, 2015) for her receipt of the Champion for Change Award. Every year, the Weinberg Center seizes this opportunity to raise the profile of community-based elder abuse within the large and diverse group of residents and professionals at the Hebrew Home.
