Russ Frackman Featured in the Hollywood Reporter re: 10 Year Anniversary of Napster Decision

December 14, 2009

Russell Frackman participated in a Q&A with the Hollywood Reporter regarding the 10-year anniversary of the Napster decision. Mr. Frackman, the leading lawyer in the Napster case, defends the recording industry's decision in suing the pioneering file-sharing service. He states that "Our consistent position was that copyright holders aren't against technology, only the way it's illegitimately used ... without the Napster suit, iTunes would never have existed. There would have been no incentive for people to pay money for music."
