MSK Represents Viveve Medical in $6 Million Private Placement

Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp today announced its representation of Viveve Medical, Inc., a Silicon Valley based medical device company focused on women's health, in a $6 million private placement of its common stock. Stonepine Capital acted as the lead investor, along with existing investors RTW Investments, Alta Bioequities, Wexford Capital and Manchester Management Company. Sterne Agee CRT acted as lead placement agent and Maxim Group LLC acted as co-placement agent for the offering.

The Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp team was led by Partner, Melanie Figueroa and included Gabrielle Napolitano and Louisa Zhou. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to support the commercial launch of Viveve Medical's primary product, the Viveve® System, in the 46 countries where it is now available through select distributors.
