ACE: Will It Happen?

Su Ross will present via a webinar for NASBITE and will discuss the implementation challenges, but also provide tips for compliance along with cautionary tales about possible areas of future challenges, including the impact of the new Dept. of Justice policy seeking to impose liability on individuals in the face of corporate wrongdoing, the so-called Yates memo, properly titled Individual Accountability for Corporate Wrongdoing. 

As the federal government rolls out the new ACE computer system it will use to exchange import and export data with trade community stakeholders, companies which engage in international trade need to plan for mandatory implementation which begins on February 28, 2016.
