Soundbreaking: A Discussion with Eric Schwartz

Eric Schwartz will be speaking to members and guests of the Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property at American University Washington College of Law (“WCL PIJIP”) on his work on Soundbreaking: Stories From the Cutting Edge of Recorded Music. This discussion will take place on Wednesday, March 7 at 12 PM (EST). 

Soundbreaking is an eight-part music documentary that began in 2016 on PBS, and has been described by the Hollywood Reporter as a "do-not-miss" documentary. The review goes on to call the series "riveting" and offers high praise for this project brought to life by MSK, Higher Ground, and Show of Force. Soundbreaking went on to earn a 2017 GRAMMY nomination for “Best Music Film.”
