On October 12th, Erica Parks spoke on Employing Minors in the Entertainment Industry. Erica discussed everything there is to know in order to comply with California’s regulations governing the employment of minors in entertainment, including: work permits, hours and conditions of work, education requirements, studio teachers, the parent/guardian requirement, and court approval of contracts with minors. She also discussed New York’s and SAG’s rules for young performers.
