Julianne represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including single-plaintiff lawsuits involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination, as well as wage and hour class and collective actions.

Julianne advises on employment issues, including employee discipline and termination, compliance and policy matters, and disability accommodation.

Representative Matters

• Obtained full summary judgment in the Central District of California on behalf of a fleet services company, resulting in complete dismissal of a former employee's claims of disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, retaliation, and wrongful termination.*

• Obtained full summary judgment on behalf of a manufacturing company, resulting in complete dismissal of a former female employee’s claims of sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.*

• Secured full summary judgment on behalf of a financial services company, obtaining complete dismissal of a former female employee’s claims of sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.*
• Achieved full summary judgment for a national trucking company in a case brought by a former male employee alleging sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and constructive discharge.*
• Successfully defended summary judgment ruling on appeal before the California Court of Appeal, preparing the appellate brief and presenting oral argument, resulting in the dismissal of plaintiff’s claims for sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.*
• Obtained full summary judgment for a technology company, defeating a putative class action asserting various wage and hour claims by successfully establishing exemption status for computer software employees after almost five years of litigation.*
• Won a full defense jury verdict for an aerospace company in a case involving claims of disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, and wrongful termination.*
• Successfully defended a technology company in arbitration, securing full defense verdict and dismissal of the plaintiff’s claims for breach of contract and wrongful termination claims.*
