Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp* Represents Viveve Medical in $12 Million Private Placement
Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp* today announced its representation of Viveve Medical, Inc., a Silicon Valley based medical device company focused on women's health, in connection with a private placement of $12 million of its common stock. Stonepine Capital L.P. acted as the lead investor, along with existing investors Alta Bioequities L.P. and 5AM Ventures. CRT Capital Group LLC acted as the exclusive placement agent for the offering.
The Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp* team was led by Partner, Melanie Figueroa. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to support the commercial launch of Viveve Medical's primary product, the Viveve® System, in those regions in which it is now available through select distributors.
