MSK Joins IIPA in Celebrating World Intellectual Property Day 2012

On behalf of the International Intellectual Property Association, MSK DC Partner Steve Metalitz saluted the visionary innovators whose intellectual property and copyrighted works make such a significant contribution socially, culturally, and economically in terms of jobs, foreign sales and exports, and over 6% of the US GDP (IIPA, November 2011). It is hoped World IP Day, April 26, 2012, will also rally governments to take action against copyright piracy and other barriers to market access.
