Steve Metalitz is quoted in Enterprise Networking Planet's "Concerns Raised About Secrecy of IP Agreement." Mr. Metalitz, speaking in favor of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), states that ACTA will be consistent with U.S. law and makes the point that "in a multilateral treaty with dozens of nations, U.S. business interests can't alone dictate the terms of negotiation." He envisions the agreement to set a baseline standard for global IP protection in which it's illegal for businesses to allow others to infringe.
