Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp Wins American Lawyer Industry Award for Corporate Culture & Wellbeing
Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP (MSK) is proud to announce that it has been named the winner of The American Lawyer’s Corporate Culture & Wellbeing Award at the 2025 American Lawyer Industry Awards. The recognition honors MSK’s innovative wellness initiative, a first-of-its-kind program that has delivered transformative outcomes for both attorneys and staff.
Launched late last year as an ambitious pilot, MSK’s wellness program offers comprehensive metabolic testing, personalized fitness and nutrition coaching, mental health resources, and a variety of group wellbeing experiences. Participants have praised the program for its lasting impact on both their personal and professional lives. Following its success, the initiative has already doubled in size, expanding its initial cohort of 25 to over 50 participants throughout the firm.
“This award affirms MSK’s long-standing commitment to investing in our people,” said Yakub Hazzard, MSK’s Chairman. “We set out to reimagine what workplace wellbeing could look like, and we’re honored to see that vision recognized as the leader in the industry.”
“The program gave everyone the tools they need to create a healthier life,” said David Rugendorf, an MSK partner and pilot program participant. Pam Burchette, a fellow participant and practice support coordinator, added, “I never expected to be part of something like this through work, and it’s made me more confident in advocating for my health. I hope others get the same opportunity—it really can make a difference.”
The American Lawyer Industry Awards celebrate outstanding achievements across the legal profession. This year’s winners were honored at a ceremony on November 13 in New York City.
