MSK Client Tangled Bank Studios Premieres Alzheimer’s Documentary on NOVA PBS
MSK is very proud to support their client, Tangled Bank Studios, on their co-production of CAN ALZHEIMER’S BE STOPPED?, premiering tonight at 9PM/8c on NOVA PBS. NOVA (production of WGBH Boston) partnered with Holt Productions and Tangled Bank Studios to create a one-hour documentary about Alzheimer’s research, how medicine is moving forward and the families affected by the disease. Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most common forms of dementia, and it’s currently affecting over 5 million people in the US. CAN ALZHEIMER’S BE STOPPED? gives the audience a first-hand view of individuals that are not only struggling with this disease, but that are participating in clinical trials and medication testing with the hope of helping a future generation.
Tangled Bank Studios, LLC, is a production company dedicated to the creation of original science documentaries for broadcast, theatrical, and digital distribution. Founded in 2012 by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute as an extension of its longstanding science education mission, the company aims to produce programs that capture compelling stories of discovery.
