Andrew Spitser Elected to Partnership

MSK announces the election of Andrew Spitser as a partner of the firm, effective January 1, 2016. Andrew works in MSK’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Digital Media & Interactive Entertainment practice groups.

"We are extremely proud to welcome Andrew to the partnership," said Kevin Gaut, Chairman of MSK. "He is a talented litigator and outstanding person, who has earned the respect of his clients and colleagues alike, in addition to being an exemplary member of the firm." 

Named to the list of Southern California "Rising Stars" by Super Lawyers magazine, Andrew handles an array of general and complex civil litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on copyright, trademark, business torts, contract disputes, entertainment representation, and employment litigation. He has extensive experience researching complicated legal issues and preparing significant briefs and motions in federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Prior to joining MSK, Andrew worked as an audio engineer and as a high school English teacher. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Michigan, with Distinction.
