Lauren Wachtler joined with criminal defense attorneys and prosecutors from throughout the state in investigating incidences of prosecutorial and police misconduct in New York, resulting in a 185-page report that was presented to and unanimously endorsed by the House of Delegates of the NYSBA on April 4, 2009. Legislation addressing Task Force recommendations is already being discussed among NY lawmakers.
