Stephen A. Bauman Named Of Counsel

Los Angeles, May 15, 2002 – Stephen A. Bauman has been named of counsel to Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP in its Family Wealth Planning practice, announced Thomas P. Lambert, Managing Partner of the firm.

Mr. Bauman received his bachelor's degree in business administration from UCLA, his JD from Stanford Law School and his LLM from Harvard Law School. He was previously a partner with: Willis, Butler in Los Angeles; with Kaplan, Livingston in Beverly Hills; and with Seyfarth, Shaw in Los Angeles.

"They (and I) will now have access to a full service firm of exceptional quality attorneys--in particular a full complement of experienced trusts and estates, tax and business, real estate and transactional lawyers." Mr. Bauman has lectured and written frequently on trust and estate planning, tax matters and related topics. He is a past president of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council, and has served as the National Chair of fundraising for Stanford Law School.
