MSK and Richardson Patel Announce Merger

July 1, 2015

We are excited to announce that effective July 1, 2015, Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP has merged with Richardson Patel LLP, a boutique firm concentrated largely on corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters.

The merger immediately increases our presence in New York, boosts our diversity scorecard, enhances our corporate practice across the board, and gives us the ability to offer a full suite of legal services to clients in all industries and phases of their lifecycle – as they grow from innovative startups to Fortune 100s.

In 107 years of legal practice, the lawyers of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP have absorbed one lesson above all: the right combination of talent makes all the difference. We learned that first in the 1930s, when the addition of Guy Knupp, a law school classmate of Shep Mitchell, laid the groundwork for expanded litigation and entertainment practices that remain a hallmark of our firm today.

Eighty years later, Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp is excited to be making another transformative addition. Our merger with the extraordinarily talented lawyers from Richardson Patel promises to have an equally positive impact on the direction of our firm, increasing our capacity for corporate and litigation work of the greatest sophistication.
