Student and Practitioner Viewpoints: A Dual Perspective

Sheraton Universal Hotel
February 12, 2016
12:00 pm

Jay Rosenthal will be speaking at the 2016 Copyright Society Mid-Winter Meeting on a panel titled “Student and Practitioner Viewpoints: A Dual Perspective Look at Recent Copyright Cases.” This “reverse mentoring" panel will present the perspectives of millennial lawyers and students on various copyright issues. The panel will discuss several recent cases and explore how and whether the approaches and views on such cases differ between the newest generation of lawyers, and the views of more experienced practitioners.

The goal for the panel is to seek the perspectives of millennial lawyers and students on copyright issues. We have a number of students from GMU, American, and Tulane lined up, and the panel will discuss several recent "hot" cases and explore how/whether the approaches and views on such cases differ between the newest generation of lawyers, and the views of more experienced practitioners.
