Brandon E. Hughes is an associate in Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp's Litigation Practice Group. Brandon’s practice focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on entertainment and intellectual property.
Prior to joining the firm, Brandon developed extensive litigation experience while working at national law firms. Brandon has drafted dispositive motions, pleadings, and discovery motions. Brandon has also argued at multiple administrative hearings. Brandon’s pro bono practice has focused on advising and advocating for those seeking asylum in the United States.
Representative Matters
- Represents collectively more than 100 producers and distributors of copyrighted television content before the Copyright Royalty Board regarding distribution of cable royalty funds under Section 111 of the Copyright Act for the years 2014-2017.
