MSK Client Netmarble Acquires Kung Fu Factory
On February 12, MSK client Netmarble US successfully completed its acquisition of a majority stake in Just Games Interactive Entertainment LLC (d/b/a Kung Fu Factory), a leading developer of mobile, console and online video games, for approximately $12 million. MSK served as lead counsel to Netmarble US in connection with the transaction.
Netmarble US is the US-based division of Netmarble Corp, one of the largest mobile game companies in the world and known for having developed and produced games such as MARVEL Future Fight, Lineage 2: Revolution, The King of Fighters ALLSTAR, Seven Knights, Magic: ManaStrike, and BTS World.
The MSK deal team was led by corporate partner Blake Baron and included associate Anup Khatri of the firm’s New York office. MSK partners Marc Mayer, Nimish Patel, Robert Lowe, Joel Schoenfeld, Daniel Cousineau and Brian Ragen also assisted in the transaction.
