  • Represented the borrower in the $45 MM refinance of a 230,000 square foot retail shopping center in Rancho Mirage, California, offering premier outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment.
  • Represented a family real estate holding company acting as the purchaser in the purchase of a $14 MM shopping center in Fairfield, California.
  • Represented a private equity real estate firm in the $135MM acquisition of a 15-property portfolio with real estate including retail, office, multi-family housing and vacant land located in California, Illinois and Wisconsin.
  • Represented a private equity real estate firm in the $12MM disposition of an office building in San Diego, California.
  • Represented a private equity real estate firm in the $13MM disposition of a mixed-use building as well as the $12.8MM disposition of an office building in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Strategic representation of high net-worth individuals in the purchase of luxury residential properties.
  • Drafted the opinion letter as borrower’s counsel in a $39MM acquisition loan of a 420-unit apartment complex in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
  • Represented a commercial bank in the origination of a $23MM loan to a commercial millwork firm secured by mortgages and deeds of trust against industrial real estate located in Iowa, Minnesota and Texas.
  • Represented a developer as borrower’s counsel in connection with a $19MM construction loan to finance the development of a 24-unit apartment complex in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Represented a global office co-working tenant in connection with the $259MM lease and build-out of over 350,000 rentable square feet of space in San Jose, California.
  • Represented a global office co-working tenant in connection with the $65MM lease and build-out of over 102,000 rentable square feet of space in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Represented a global office co-working tenant in connection with the $54MM lease and build-out of over 90,000 rentable square feet of space in El Segundo, California.
