Steve Metalitz was quoted in the December 11, 2009 issue of Warren's Washington Internet Daily, "Internet Users Shoulder Legal Responsibilities, Perhaps Unwittingly, When They Post Online," regarding posting user-generated content on the internet. Mr. Metalitz notes that consumers have inadvertently taken on a role with legal responsibilities of which they are unaware and may be unprepared. He states that there are "wildly divergent standards" for defamation and defenses to defamation.
