Representative Matters

  • Member of litigation team that successfully defended individual and corporate clients against a $5 million-plus claim for trade secret misappropriation and breach of fiduciary duty that arose when plaintiff's president left plaintiff's employ and joined the corporate defendant.  Jury verdict for our client followed a three week trial in Riverside Superior Court.
  • Obtained dismissal of all claims against foreign bank alleged to have participated in fraudulent transactions.
  • Member of litigation team obtaining favorable settlement for owner of industrial park in a complex eminent domain matter regarding City of Riverside's grade separation project that changed traffic pattern and eliminated a large segment of parking available to tenants and customers.
  • Member of litigation team obtaining favorable settlement for bank in large tract foreclosure case involving claims of numerous contractors and subcontractors.
  • Member of litigation team honored by Public Counsel as the 2008 Consumer Law Project "Advocate of the Year" for pro bono work provided on behalf of indigent victim of real estate fraud, regaining title of victim's property and significant monetary settlement.
  • Member of team that successfully obtained preliminary injunction and prosecuted breach of supply contract claim in liability phase of arbitration proceeding, leading to an eight-figure recovery.
